Delivery Record: High-Concentration Air Transport Equipment for Quicklime

By using dry compressed air, it has become possible to transport quicklime while maintaining its quality.

This is an introduction to our achievements in delivering high-concentration air transport equipment for quicklime at Fuji Koki. Quicklime can be reactive, and with conventional low-concentration air transport, when transporting in high humidity conditions such as rainy weather, the moisture in the air reacts with the quicklime, leading to a decline in quality. This equipment allows for transportation without compromising quality by using dry compressed air. 【Project Overview and Challenges】 - After sieving and classifying the existing grinding line (-2mm), it branches off with a positive and negative screw conveyor to transport to a newly installed 100m³ silo using high-concentration air transport. - Since quicklime easily reacts with moisture to become slaked lime, the air used for high-concentration air transport is completely dehumidified. *For more details, please refer to the related links or feel free to contact us.
